Acumentra Health supports medical practices in a wide range of activities focused on redesign of medical office processes for better access to clinical information and more effective integration and coordination of multiple care needs.
Acumentra Health is assisting 40 Oregon primary care practices in using their electronic health record (EHR) systems for improving preventive care services and reporting clinical data. This initiative expands a previous 3-year project that helped more than 40 practices select and implement EHRs under the Medicare-sponsored Doctor's Office Quality–Information Technology (DOQ–IT) initiative.
Acumentra Health supports PQRI, a Medicare-sponsored program that provides a financial incentive to physicians and other practitioners for voluntary reporting of quality data. Acumentra Health serves as an intermediary to inform Oregon physicians about participation in the program.
Acumentra Health is a convenor of the Washington State Collaborative, a multidisciplinary quality improvement initiative focusing on improving care for the state's Medicaid population. Acumentra Health leads the pediatric track of the collaborative.
Acumentra Health is working with Oregon Medicare Advantage plans and Prescription Benefit Managers on a multi-year project to improve drug safety for Medicare beneficiaries.
